Security

Security is of the utmost importance to both Corporate Express and to our business partners. As such, several layers of security are provided.

Physical security is managed jointly by our Operations & IT Departments.
Redundant firewall protection is in place to address unique potential threats, and is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Corporate Express has an ongoing patch process to maintain security of applications and hardware, including intrusion capabilities.
Third-party monitoring is in place to scan for vulnerabilities. Price Waterhouse Coopers performs all audit functions.
Corporate Express also employs anti-virus protection on all servers and desktops. All e-mail messages are also inspected for presence of computer viruses, which are updated daily.
Login security practices are in place to ensure there is no unauthorized access to business applications and data.
All customer sensitive communications are encrypted.

Data Security

We understand the need to keep customer credit card and other sensitive information secure.

All sensitive data is encrypted using state-of-the-art encryption software.
Our security policies prevent all but a handful of individuals to have access to this sensitive information, and only on a need-to-know-basis.
Customer account information is not shared with anyone except the customer account owner.

Quality Assurance

Corporate Express has a rigorous Content Management policy that is jointly approved by IT Operations, IT Applications Support, and IT Architecture Groups. All changes are rigorously tested in accordance with internal Quality Assurance Procedures.
