Broomfield, Colorado – May 13, 2008 –Corporate Express US Inc. announced today that it has just attained recertification for its quality management system to the ISO 9001:2000 international standard. This recertification covers the company’s US office products and facility supplies operations nationwide. ISO 9001:2000 represents international consensus on a set of standardized requirements for a quality management system. Recertification to ISO 9001:2000 requires a company to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction through continuous improvement. “Attaining recertification validates the significant progress we’ve made with continuously improving our operations,” said Tim Beauchamp, senior vice president of customer care and distribution operations, “and we are committed to continue progressing by pursuing ISO 14001:2004 certification next.” ISO 14001:2004 represents international consensus on a set of standardized requirements for an environmental management system.
